I have been keeping up with Inktober, but for various reasons not as assiduously as last year. Perhaps it isn’t as novel, perhaps I am more critical of my own drawing skills, perhaps for the various reasons mentioned above my drawing skills are not as sharp (ha) and my appreciation of the pictures out there is less. It does seem to me there is more and more of what I don’t especially like out there (too much fandom and anime) and less and less of the original work I liked so much last year. But there are exceptions:
